Muay Thai

The training starts with a warming session, generally a run or rope skipping together with push ups if bad weather. Then the teacher who wears protection equipment shows different moves and the right movement coordination.

The students learn movements like punching, kicking, elbow and knee strokes together with how to avoid or stop the opponents’ strokes.

Clinch, a full body wrestling is also a part of Muay Thai. Strengthening and stretching belong to a full Muay Thai training. The physical training, one of the best of the sport world, develops endurance and flexibility, strength and speed, reactions and balance. The teacher always follows the developments of both beginner students and professional athletes.
